yum, ever wanted some mitarashi dangos?

Well now you can make them!

follow the instructions above and enjoy the most popular dango in Japan!

Best part is, since the dumplings really don't have a taste, they can be dippe in things other than the mitarshi sauce! like:
melted chocolate
jam
anything you're willing to try!

Does it have to be Rice Flour? Is there anything else I could use? I really need to know soon because I want to make Dango's for my Anime Club, but I don't have Rice Flour. Respond back soon please. Thank you ^^

I've only ever used rice flour for my dango, so I'm really not sure. You could always try a normal flour, but I personally wouldn't recommend it.  If at all possible, try to get your hands on some rice flour, though.

AS long as it's a gluten rice flour, the rest doesn't matter! ^.^

I think you're only supposed to use glutenous rice flour... When I made them with just normal rice flour it didn't form the dough...

It depends on whether you have a steam cooker.

You can also use a rice cooker.... I believe I did 3/4 cup water for maybe 15 minutes

I don't see why not!
I'd suggest trying it on a smaller batch of dango, though.
Definitely let me know if it works out! =D

i'll tell you how it goes once i get more rice flour XD no idea when that'll be x_x which reminds me, is there a certain kind of rice flour i have to use? everytime i tried to make dango or mochi in the past it would be too liquidy from the water o3o

I used plain old mochi rice flour. Are you kneading the dough properly?

I can usually get 12-15 at the least, but it depends on the size on the dango.
